Chris was 8 years old and diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Because of his inability to concentrate he was to retake the 3rd grade.
His mother explained that when he was not on his medication (Ritalin), Chris would become almost uncontrollable at times, was defiant and had outbursts of anger.

Chis had said the didn't like taking the medication because it changed who he was and made him very unhappy.

After about 2 months of brain based therapy under the supervision of Dr. Walter K. Crooks, a chiropractic clinical neurologist in the Houston, Texas area, Chris became the boy his mother knew he was. He was able to control his impulsive behavior and was now a courteous well adjusted and respectful young man.
